FAQ

+ How do I know my cuff/bracelet size?

Please reference our size chart here. If you fall exactly between two sizes, we recommend sizing up or requesting a custom size. If you fall outside of our size range, you can send us an email to request custom sizing at no additional charge. Custom-sized pieces are non-returnable, so be sure to triple check!

Please note that our sizing is unisex and therefore a petite to average size woman will often wear a small or medium, a petite to average size man will often wear a medium or large. Please reference our size guide carefully and reach out via email with questions or concerns before ordering.

A great place to start is ordering our sizing kit - an all inclusive package designed to ensure you get the perfect fit every time.

+When will my order ship?

Every piece is handmade in our workshop as the order is placed. We aim to finish and ship out orders within 3-4 business days. Production times may be longer during peak times. If you need something urgently, please email us -- we want your friend/enemy to get their super special gift on time too!

If you are in the area and would like to pick up your order, let us know in the order notes and we'll refund the shipping charge!

+ Do your products contain nickel or lead?

Nothing we make contains nickel, cadmium, or lead. Our brass, copper, sterling silver, and gold are the highest and purest quality available.

+ Will this leave green marks on my skin?

It all depends on the chemistry of your skin. This is a reaction that happens to some in the early days of wearing brass or copper, dependent on your personal pH levels. Most people find that as they wear their cuff more, the reaction diminishes. As your body chemistry reacts with the metal, a protective oxide layer will begin to form on the inside of the cuff, helping to minimize this reaction. Please note this reaction is not an allergic reaction and is harmless!

+ What works best for engraving?

For our standard/text engraving, any character you can type on a keyboard can be used for engraving. This includes emojis, but keep in mind they will be more of a black & white outline. Our default font is a block font, all caps. If you would like lower case text (or upper + lower), please let us know in the order notes on the cart page.

For custom art engraving, here are a few tips for best results:
* Black & White - Essentially, whatever you see in black will be what’s cut into the metal.
* Line Art - images that are super detailed may result in blobs. Crisp lines work best.
* Size - File size doesn’t matter much, so long as the image is clear (not blurry). There’s no set size for the art, but bear in mind that the “print surface” is very small so your art will be getting smooshed to fit! Additionally, be sure your art dimensions are aligned with the dimensions of the engravable space.
* Copyright - We may only use art that you own the copyright to. Art must also be non-watermarked.

If you have something specific in mind, shoot us a note with exactly what you are going for (send examples, if you have them) and we’ll work with you to achieve the best result.

Keep in mind, all custom-sized and personalized/engraved pieces are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange. Please be certain of your size before placing the order.

+ What is the return policy?

You may return any item that is not Final Sale within 30 days of receipt for a refund, store credit, or exchange. Custom-stamped, custom-sized, and sale items are considered Final Sale and not eligible for return. Please get in touch prior to placing order for sizing assistance if you are unsure.

Eligible returns from within the US will be provided one shipping label free of charge. Eligible refund requests will be subject to a $7.95 fee. Returns may be initiated here

+ How do I maintain the finish of my cuff?

Keep in mind that each cuff is meant to evolve and develop a unique patina as you wear it. Our high polished cuffs tend to stay bright when worn regularly, but darken up when left sitting exposed to air. You can brighten them back up with any polishing agent or cloth. We suggest the Sunshine Cloth, available on Amazon. Our brushed finish items can be restored by rubbing them with scotch bright.

+ How do I keep my cuff clean?

If you're just looking to remove grime, all you'll need is gentle dish soap. If you're storing your cuffs for long periods of time without wearing them, you can keep them sealed in a plastic bag to avoid exposure to oxygen that will cause them to further darken.
